About Us

What is it about our jewelry which is inspired by the Prophet ﷺ. At Darqawi, each and every one of our pieces draw deep inspiration from the blessed Sandals of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, known as the Na'l (singular) and Nalayn (plural).

Our aim at Darqawi was to craft jewelry that serves as more than mere adornment. Each piece is created to be a constant reminder of the Prophet ﷺ and his beautiful teachings. By incorporating the symbolic form of the Nalayn into our designs, we seek to honor his legacy and invite those who wear our jewelry to walk in his footsteps—both spiritually and metaphorically. These pieces are a reflection of love and devotion, a tangible reminder of the timeless values of mercy, humility, and generosity that the Prophet ﷺ embodied.

The intricate details of our designs echo the sacred geometry and elegance of the Nalayn. Just as the sandals were symbols of the Prophet’s ﷺ journey on this earth, our jewelry is meant to accompany you on your personal journey of faith. Whether as a pendant, ring, or bracelet, each piece is a manifestation of deep respect for the Prophet ﷺ, carrying his remembrance close to your heart.

At Darqawi, we believe in blending faith and artistry to create pieces that inspire love, connection, and reflection. Our jewelry not only honors the rich heritage of Islamic tradition but also serves as a daily reminder to align one’s life with the Prophetic example, keeping the light of the Prophet ﷺ alive in our hearts and actions.

These sacred sandals, safeguarded in places of honor like the Topkapi Museum, have long been revered by scholars, poets, and believers as symbols of humility, devotion, and closeness to Allah. They represent not just a piece of history but a profound connection to the most beloved of creation, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

What the scholars have said regarding the blessed sandals of our Prophet ﷺ

  • Imam Qadhi Yusuf an-Nabhani (a prominent scholar and poet):

    • “The sandals of the Prophet ﷺ are a crown upon the heads of the creation, a light illuminating the darkness of the nights, and a unique protection for all mankind.”
  • Shaykh al-Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi (may Allah be pleased with him):

    • “If the realities of the Prophet’s ﷺ sandals were unveiled to you, you would not be able to withstand its light. For they are a reflection of the footsteps of Prophethood, a sign of servanthood to the Divine.”
  • Imam Jalal ad-Din as-Suyuti (may Allah have mercy on him):

    • “The Prophet’s ﷺ sandals are not mere objects; they are a testimony to his exalted rank and nearness to Allah. To love them is to love him ﷺ, and to revere them is to revere the best of creation.”
  • Shaykh Yusuf an-Nabhani in his poem, Sa’adat ad-Darayn:

    • “Kissing the image of the Nalayn brings nearness to the Divine. Even the dust beneath them is more honorable than kings.”
  • Imam Busiri, author of Qasidah al-Burdah:

    • In reference to the Prophet ﷺ, scholars often interpreted Busiri’s praise as extending even to the Nalayn: “For if it were not for him, this world would not have come into existence.”
  • Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (may Allah be pleased with him):

    • “The dust of the Nalayn Mubarak is better than the thrones of kings and the crowns of emperors.”
